How I know Yingxue
Collaborator; first author, theta sequences (2015)
I met Yingxue when she was the postdoc, and the only other member, of the Pastalkova lab; she had come to neuroscience from electrical engineering. She was a valuable mentor and coworker during my PhD, and I learned a tremendous amount from her, for which I'm grateful.
Work highlights
- Multilayer processing of spatiotemporal spike patterns in a neuron with active dendrites
- Theta sequences are essential for internally generated hippocampal firing fields
