How I know Rob
Mentor; coauthor, VSD imaging (2013)
Rob was a mentor during my time as a research assistant in Anna Roe's lab at Vanderbilt, and a coauthor on our voltage-sensitive dye imaging paper. I'm grateful for his mentorship and for all he taught me about optical imaging.
Work highlights
- Optical imaging of a tactile illusion in area 3b of the primary somatosensory cortex
- Modality maps within primate somatosensory cortex
- Responses of areas 3b and 1 in anesthetized squirrel monkeys to single- and dual-site stimulation of the digits
- Optical imaging of digit topography in individual awake and anesthetized squirrel monkeys
- Methods for fine scale functional imaging of tactile motion in human and nonhuman primates
- Study of single and multidigit activation in monkey somatosensory cortex using voltage-sensitive dye imaging
