How I know Ayan
Mentor; first author, whisker trimming (2014)
Ayan was a mentor when I was an undergraduate in Ford Ebner's lab, and we worked together on his paper on whisker trimming and synchrony in barrel cortex. I'm grateful for his mentorship during my first years in research.
Work highlights
- Proinflammatory mediators released by activated microglia induces neuronal death in Japanese encephalitis
- Biased mGlu5-positive allosteric modulators provide in vivo efficacy without potentiating mGlu5 modulation of NMDAR currents
