SETplayer
A real-time phone app for SET “assistance.”
Full write-up · very much under construction
This project grew big enough that I made a detailed post for it. It's a work in progress.
Demo
What it is
An Android app that watches a table of SET cards through the phone's camera and highlights every valid set in real time. Nothing runs on a laptop: detection, card reading, and solving all happen on the phone at about 29 frames per second.
The full story
The design, the dead ends, the benchmarks, and how the card reader was trained without a single real photo are all in the full write-up.
